Our program offers an opportunity exclusively for Tolland Intermediate School students to Celebrate Recreation, Education and Well-being. Our after school program is unlike any other in town! 'The CREW' meets every day after school for the entire school year. Students are met by Crew Leaders at the dismissal bell on Regular School days as well as Scheduled Early Release days. From there the CREW make the quick walk up to the Recreation Center - 104 Old Post Road (next door to TIS). Afternoons with 'the CREW' begin with 20 minutes of what we call 'Recess'. This time gives students a chance to get some of their school day energy out, socialize with their friends, play a quick game of catch or jam out to music. We then transition into the classroom with quiet time which may look like a good book, a game of cards, making a friendship bracelet or getting a head start on homework - all before jumping into recreational activities. Consider 'the CREW After School' - the cousin of Crandall's Summer Camp! We can't wait to meet you and have you join 'the CREW'!PROGRAM FEE:  The cost of the program is $2,500. However, we are able to pass down a 50% discount thanks to ARPA Funding that we received! After that discount the program cost is $1,250 for the 24/25 TIS School Year, per participant! Registration MUST be completed in 2024 to receive ARPA discount.
