Join Tolland High School Track & Field coaches in a summer program designed to build speed, endurance, and confidence! Whether your child is looking to improve their fitness for other sports or discover the joy of running, Tolland On The Run offers a fun, supportive environment for all ability levels.
What We’ll Cover: We move beyond the "boring" laps and focus on the fundamentals through high-energy activities. Participants will learn:
- The Essentials: Proper dynamic stretching and warm-up routines to stay injury-free.
- Running Mechanics: Games and drills that teach efficient form and sprinting/distance technique.
- Variety: Workouts held both on the track (for speed) and off-road (for trail-running adventures).
- Teamwork: Engaging running games that keep kids moving and smiling.
