Pre-Dance - Pre-Dance, Session # 1, Fall 2026 This one hour pre-dance for children ages 2-4 years old will be broken down into ballet, jazz, tap and basic tumbling. This is a perfect introduction to dance for young dancers. During class children will explore music, rhythm, movement as well as basic footwork and basic tumbling skills. We will often use props such as ribbons, magic wands and more to add not only fun to class but props are a great way to use more motor skills. **Dancers should have their hair pulled back, wear comfortable dance clothing such as a leotard and have the appropriate shoes.**

CREW After School - CREW After School 26/27 Tolland Recreation, "The CREW After School"! What is CREW? The CREW After School Program is an after school enrichment program that offers students of TIS the opportunity to engage in recreational based activities, a daily dedicated window of time to work on homework amongst their peers and promote overall well-being. Our team works hard to provide an experience that balances fun, connection and personal growth at the end of each school day. We recognize that students have worked hard throughout the school day so each afternoon includes 20-30 minutes of outdoor recess (weather permitting) to give them the opportunity to unwind, be active and "get the sillies out" in a positive and supervised environment. On scheduled half days, the program offers a special themed experience, with the theme revealed to students upon arrival to build excitement and engagement. Snacks are provided on these days for all registered participants and are carefully selected to meet all allergy guidelines and restrictions that have been provided by each family. Here at CREW we strive to create a welcoming, supportive and engaging environment where students can recharge, connect with friends and enjoy meaningful after-school experiences. CREW is more than your average after school program - whether you're looking for reliable end-of-day childcare or a fun, safe and engaging social environment for your child, we're got you covered! I also incorporate some of the principles of Ayurveda, “the science of life”, in these classes to give you more tools to cultivate balance, harmony, and vibrant health in your life. Everything can be adapted to suit individual levels.

Who, When & Where? The CREW After School is for students attending Tolland Intermediate School, only. CREW After School Program runs from dismissal bell on regular school days (3:15 P.M.) until 6:00 P.M. On scheduled Early Release Days participants will be greeted by a Crew Leader at 12:40 P.M. and the program will run until its normal end time of 6:00 P.M. CREW After School - CREW After School 26/27 Tolland Recreation, "The CREW After School"! What is CREW? Who, When & Where? The CREW After School is for students attending Tolland Intermediate School, only. When picking up your child from CREW After School you will be required to show ID. Please have this readily available throughout the year. You may add to your Authorized Pick-Up list at any time by logging into your household account, and notifying the Recreation Staff on the CREW cell phone: 860-931-1021 via text so we have it in writing.
