Futsal Clinics - Futsal Clinic- (Tolland Intermediate School), Fall 2025 The Tolland Recreation Department in conjunction with CAB Sports is running Futsal Clinics this Fall/Winter. Futsal is a sport that is widely popular in South America, and Europe. It is traditionally played as a 5 v. 5, with goalies on a basketball court. Futsal is played with a smaller, low bounce ball and encourages a great touch on the ball, good footwork, and dribbling past a defender. It is gaining popularity in America because many famous players have praised Futsal for developing their playing style. Players such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Cristiano Ronaldo. Futsal is one of the fastest growing sports worldwide. The United States is now developing a league which will begin soon. What does a session look like? Every session is broken down into 3 parts; Technical Training, Tactical Training and Game/ Skill Application. Players will engage in game or modified game in order to apply both technical and tactical skills. This is the player's favorite part of the clinic and where they are really encouraged to show the skills they have learned.

Pre-Dance - Pre-Dance, Session 2, Fall 2025 This one hour pre-dance for children ages 2-4 years old will be broken down into ballet, jazz, tap and basic tumbling. This is a perfect introduction to dance for young dancers. During class children will explore music, rhythm, movement as well as basic footwork and basic tumbling skills. We will often use props such as ribbons, magic wands and more to add not only fun to class but props are a great way to use more motor skills. **Dancers should have their hair pulled back, wear comfortable dance clothing such as a leotard and have the appropriate shoes.**

Our program offers an opportunity exclusively for Tolland Intermediate School students to Celebrate Recreation, Education and Well-being. Our after school program is unlike any other in town!

Futsal Clinics - Futsal Clinic- (Birch Grove School),Winter 2026 The Tolland Recreation Department in conjunction with CAB Sports is running Futsal Clinics this Fall/Winter.

"The 'CREW After School' Program" - CREW After School 25/26 Tolland Recreation, "The CREW After School"! Our program offers an opportunity exclusively for Tolland Intermediate School students to Celebrate Recreation, Education and Well-being. Our after school program is unlike any other in town! 'The CREW' meets every day after school for the entire school year. Students are met by Crew Leaders at the dismissal bell on Regular School days as well as Scheduled Early Release days. From there the CREW make the quick walk up to the Recreation Center - 104 Old Post Road (next door to TIS). Afternoons with 'the CREW' begin with 20 minutes of what we call 'Recess'. This time gives students a chance to get some of their school day energy out, socialize with their friends, play a quick game of catch or jam out to music. We then transition into the classroom with quiet time which may look like a good book, a game of cards, making a friendship bracelet or getting a head start on homework - all before jumping into recreational activities. Consider 'the CREW After School' - the cousin of Crandall's Summer Camp! We can't wait to meet you and have you join 'the CREW'!PROGRAM FEE: The cost of the program is $2,600 for the entire school year. Families will have 2 options to remit payment.Option A.
